"I have struggled with writing my memoir, coming from a research background. I was floundering on the process, of structuring a memoir and creating an action plan. Research writing and novel writing are absolutely not the same. Alyssa walks you through, step by step, how to start looking at the process, how to plan the process out, and how to become more effective in writing personal stories. I HIGHLY recommend her masterclass to everyone! Everyone has a story to tell and Alyssa can get you through the process of it.” – Dr. Jennifer Capler

(See what I did there?)
Explains the three avenues to publishing, identifying the advantages and disadvantages of each route; reviews key elements to know about the publisher you choose; and includes a list of questions to ask yourself when making a decision.
Highlights frequent concerns of starting memoirists such as: ➵ How do I know how much to include? ➵ How do I write about someone who is still alive? ➵ How do I write about that memory when that memory still bothers me to think about?
➵ Identifies a variety of publishing professionals one encounters based on the publishing avenue ➵ Defines their role and what they do to help authors ➵ Discusses what to ask when engaging with services and what to look at when reviewing contracts
Let me say this upfront.
This masterclass will require you to DO STUFF. It’s not just watching the videos and then building a blueprint for your book through osmosis or deep breathing exercises (though those can help with meditation and visualization).
To get the customized blueprint for your book, you’ve got to do the work. There are a lot of worksheets and exercises and the template won’t fill in itself. So you have to be invested in taking the time and putting in the effort.
The material I teach in this masterclass is material I go through with my 1:1 clients. The exercises are also based on that individual coaching work. People walk away with a load of information about their book that they didn’t have before they began working with me AND have so much clarity and confidence around their book that not only do they feel in control of the process, they feel empowered and excited. I know this stuff works. But it worked because they did the work.
Now, you get the entirety of the course upfront which means you get 30-days (a whole month) from the time of enrollment to dig in with the material and determine if this meets your expectations.
If you don’t feel totally confident and motivated to go through the entirety of the masterclass, you can reach out about a refund.
Here’s the kicker:
"Ally uses a genuine voice that imparts so much insight that’s equally validating as it is valuable. She knows how to get people to channel worry into confidence like nobody’s business. From the course wind-up to the live session recordings, the course lays out the process of memoir writing so well that it truly felt like the perfect starting point." –Elizabeth, aspiring memoirist

You should give From Blank Page to Your Book’s Blueprint a 30-day risk-free shot if you’re motivated by any of the following:
Developing a framework for how to get my own book, Dear Universe, I Get it Now written was a huge game-changer. I had started and stopped book projects for years, but this time I really wanted to succeed and finally get one written.
It took me months and a lot of ups and downs and aha moments and even a trip to Utah, but I figured out a way to approach my book without feeling I had to do it the way everyone else said I did. Finally, I figured out how to make the very long and overwhelming process of writing a book way more manageable, by taking it one bite at a time.
Originally, I turned my book’s framework into something I do with my individual coaching clients. But then I realized there were so many others who wanted to write books about their life but who might not have the time or financial resources to work privately with a coach.
Boom! The idea for this masterclass was born.
My whole mission is to empower women (and other kind and loving humans who's voices are pushed to the margins) to share their stories. To elevate their voices. Because we can change the effin’ world with our truth, our vulnerability, our messy moments.
But I can’t guide as many people to write their books if I only do private coaching, which is why this masterclass is like a little gift to the world – and to you.
I believe you’ve got some deep shit in your soul that you’ve got to say and a big reason for wanting to say it. And I want to support you in standing in that story, sharing it, and feeling its power and possibility.
Should you choose to accept my invitation, I promise you that you’ll feel so freakin’ empowered by taking this next step for you and your book. You’ve got a book, a story, a message. It’s time to let it breathe and speak.
I look forward to seeing you inside From Blank Page to Your Book’s Blueprint and hearing about the story that’s been whispering your name at night like a lover.
Xo,
Ally
“I have always wanted to write a book and I'm an avid reader. Yet, now that I have the idea for a book and even a general understanding of publishing and marketing, I hadn't a clue how to structure my story… Ally was able to help me shapeshift my vague idea into a crystallized book with plot points, characters, and a clarified theme for the reader…It was brilliant and fascinating and the excitement I have for writing my book is now doubled as a result of my time spent with Ally guiding me.”
Kathy Goughenour, Business Coach & Trainer and aspiring author“I would highly recommend Alyssa to help bring a book to life…I had no idea what to expect... I was blown away at the level of insight and organization Alyssa brought to our project. We will continue to work with Alyssa through the completion of the manuscript. The value she added was far beyond our expectations.”
Michelle Vazzana, Cofounder and Chief Strategy Officer, VantagePoint“Ally is a phenomenal writer and incredible human. I love working with her! Part of her magic is in helping you find the powerful story among all the words and crafting it in a way that reaches into the hearts of your readers. There are a lot of people on the market who offer ghostwriting. I wouldn’t trust any of them but Ally to tell my story.”
Debbie Burns, Soul Seer, Mindset Coach, Unicorn“I cold-called (or rather LI messaged) Ally after reading her book, Dear Universe, I Get it Now: Letters on the art and journey of being brave and being me. I saw myself in those pages and knew that our values, perspectives, and even sense of humor were aligned. I was right. She's a consummate writer and loves people's stories. Her business, The Write Place Right Time (TWPRT), is an extension of how she desires to show up in the world.”
Jacqueline Pittman, Chief Go-to Officer, The Pittman Advantage“I've worked directly with Alyssa on several projects and have found her to be fully prepared for each meeting and very willing to answer all of my questions and address any of the concerns I brought to the table. The value and experience she brings to my projects have consistently been beyond my expectations. She is wonderful to work with and provides a combination of professionalism, kindness, empathy, and no-nonsense I didn't know I was missing. She and her team conduct themselves at a level of integrity that is not only admirable, but much needed in the freelancing space. I can honestly say I am a better entrepreneur, leader, and writer because of her. I value her counsel and highly recommend her services.”
